New Life for Dogs

Who We Are

Since 2014, New Life for Dogs has been devoted to rescuing and rehabilitating dogs in distress in the Mateh Yehuda region. Entirely volunteer-based, our organization is committed to the welfare and wellbeing of animals in our community.

We believe that every dog deserves a chance at a happy and safe life. Our work includes rescuing dogs in distress, rehabilitating feral dogs, and providing comprehensive medical care, including spaying, neutering, rabies vaccinations, and other veterinary treatments. For dogs who need it, we also provide professional behavioral training by certified dog trainers to help prepare them for life in a loving home.

Our mission is not only to save lives, but to find a warm and caring home for every dog. We support each adoption process from start to finish and ensure every dog finds the most suitable family.

We tirelessly advocate for animal welfare. Every donation—whether of time, resources, or financial support—helps us continue our vital mission and save more lives.

Be a part of the change – join us in this important mission to save lives and bring hope to the dogs who need it most.

New Life for Dogs invites you to fall in love—and adopt.

Help Us Save Them

In order for our organization to continue operating and caring for the dogs in our care, we are always in need of donations—whether it’s bags of food, dog beds, collars, harnesses, leashes, or anything else you no longer need. And of course, financial contributions are always crucial.

Shelter Collapse – 150 Dogs Left with No Solution and at Risk of Euthanasia

In a small village in central Israel (the Sharon region), a shelter run by the Friends for Life organization has closed its doors. It was the life’s work of one woman—Galila Even-Chen, age 74.

For decades, she cared for thousands of forgotten dogs—wounded, sick, abused, invisible dogs.
Mothers with puppies, seniors, feral dogs.

She fought for them. She cared for them with deep devotion.
But today – hearts are breaking.

Her organization has shut down.
Her ability to sustain the shelter alone has collapsed.
And the dogs?
150 dogs have been left behind.
150 dogs with no solution.

Life-Saving Contributions

Help us help them

Lend a hand and give a homeless dog a second chance at life!

Thousands of abandoned dogs in Israel are looking for a warm and loving home.
Many have suffered abuse, neglect, or abandonment, and they desperately need help.

New Life for Dogs is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating abandoned dogs.
We provide them with food, shelter, medical care, and love — and help them find lifelong adoptive homes.

But we can’t do it without you!

Your donation will allow us to continue our vital work and help even more dogs find the loving homes they deserve.

Here are some ways you can contribute:

  • Donate money – Every amount helps us save abandoned dogs.
  • Volunteer with us – We always need helping hands for dog care, fundraising, and spreading awareness.
  • Adopt a dog – Open your heart and home to a homeless dog and give them a second chance at life.
  • Donate food or supplies – We always need dog food, medical supplies, toys, and more.
  • Spread awareness – Tell your friends, family, and social media followers about our mission and help us grow our support network.

Every donation, no matter how small, can make a big difference in the life of a dog in need.

Together, we can make the world a better place for dogs!

Thank you so much for your support!
